It all began in November 2009, where three mates studying music got together for a jam, and from that jam Writhe was born.
Come March 2010, the boys had been consistently gigging around Perth when they became a four piece, and from then Writhe have created a mesmerizing live show, leaving their imprint in those who have seen them play.

After the release of Writhe’s debut EP ‘Servility’ the band has enjoyed airplay with Local WA alternative radio station, RTRFM, and are currently working on a follow up EP/Album to Servility (mid-late 2011. The band and the EP are and was 100% independantly recorded, mixed, managed and promoted by the members of Writhe.

‘Servility’ was mastered by the Late Great Sean O’Callaghan of Studio Couch, only days before he tragically passed away.
