Emerging from the Northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, The Silence In-between came into the original music scene in 2009. Being described as “rocking love metal” by Blackout Magazine’s Beck Tristram, their alternative, heavy rock sound mixes a blend of punk rhythms and metal overtones, lacing it with melodic vocals giving them a harsh yet catchy vibe with a soft touch.

Currently gearing up for their EP launch on Saturday, 18th June, the band have also been busy shooting their music video for key track “Mistrust & Deceit” – the video due to be released in May 2011. Making an impression on their sponsors Winky Boo Clothing, Fever Tree drinks and Orzy Clothes, the act were quoted to have blown away Fever Tree representative David Gould with their stage presence.

Initially started in 2005, the band has evolved yet remained unshaken as changing past members brought the necessary “icing on the cake” to the table. This has been clearly demonstrated since their Castle Band Competition win in late 2009, as The Silence In-between’s sound and stage presence continues to entertain audiences at shows spanning the Perth music scene.

With all members putting in the dedicated effort needed in any quality band, the group look ahead positively, exposing themselves to new audiences who can’t help but to “leave some room for contemplation in the silence in-between”. As the band seizes opportunity, all look forward to a great year ahead
