Tame Impala Announce ‘Lonerism’ National Tour

Unless you have been living under a thick winter blanket or trekking through a remote jungle, there’s no way you could have missed the very recent gift bestowed upon the world from . We’re talking of course, of the release of their globally acclaimed second album Lonerism.

Folliowing on from their debut album, the truly incredible Innerspeaker (2010), Lonerism has been unleashed on the world, and met with the mantra of “play, replay, REPEAT”. It has received consistent A+’s from the rating gurus, including 9/10 from NME and Pitchfork and 5/5 from The Guardian, to name just a few.

And now in an early Christmas present to the nation, the lads will be playing their new material, and some oldies too, around the country this December. Parklife attendees were lucky enough to get a first sneak peek at the new tracks and it’s fair to say that minds were well and truly obliterated. In a good way.

Supported by fellow Perth-ites and good buddies, The Growl, will hit Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and will finish up in their home town. And there are a few festival appearances along the way as well.

Tickets are on sale now and we’d suggest you GET IN QUICK. If the rate in which the tickets are being snapped up for the upcoming UKand European tour is anything to go by, there is NO time for dilly-dallying. Yes, we said dilly-dallying.
