Stellas Kitchen are an unsigned original rock band from Perth, WA, with the nation”s most popular track on the 2008 GYO Upload Compilation CD.

The band has a unique line up, consisting of four brothers - Daniel, Domenic, Carlo and Jonathan Romeo, and is named after that family heritage. Stellas Kitchen formed when the brothers got together to play the original music written by Daniel.

Since playing their first gig in August, 2007, they have grown into an established rock band around the WA scene and have already travelled interstate to play at venues such as the Esplanade Hotel and the Pony Club in Melbourne.

They’ve also filmed their first professional video clip (which is nominated for the 2008 Music Oz Awards), appeared on TV, and are currently recording their debut album for release in early 2009.

Being asked to feature on the 2008 GYO National Compilation CD, by independent label Foghorn Records, was a significant achievement for the band. Nineteen original bands from across Australia feature on the CD, with Stellas Kitchen being the only band representing WA - and their song, “Baby”, is currently the number 1 downloaded/purchased track off of the album, via iTunes Australia.
