Formed as a whole band in Mid 2008, guitarist Judas and the drummer Robbie hail from Newman, WA and have since moved down to Perth. The two have been in a few bands, but have always managed to stay together. Judas has been playing guitar for many years, along with Robbie and are eager to play most styles in order to master their craft! Adri was bored one day at uni so went onto perthbands and came across Judas’s ad who was looking to start a band. Adri came over for a jam one day, and was impressed with their talent so she joined… Next they found Brad. He was recording our acoustic demo ‘This River Flows Right’ as part of a project for school. He could play bass. Really good. So he jumped on board.
New Norcia’s first gig was played at the Rosemount Hotel in North Perth, for the Emergenza competition.
2009 Should be a busy year for the band in terms of song writing. The all love their music. Anything good, with no limits, and love to have heaps of fun with what they do.
