STONER ROCK
Formally known as Nebula, Jupiter Zeus is a new psychedelic stoner rock band from Perth, Western Australia.
Nebula started life as a thrash/death metal band in Western Australia, and released 1 album entitled “Sadness Vs Madness” which received radio airplay on Triple J in Australia, RTR FM in Perth as well as a multitude of overseas radio stations as well.
Sadness Vs Madness was heavily bootlegged in Indonesia and Malaysia (with an estimated 40000 bootleg copies circulating) and the band developed an underground following in parts of Europe.
With a name and lineup change, Jupiter Zeus shows a change in musical direction still with the same sound as Nebula yet embracing influences such as Black Sabbath, Kyuss and Soundgarden.
