Fresh from closing out the main DJ stage at Future Music Festivals 2008 & 2009, MARKUS SCHULZ is no stranger to Perth. Those who saw him go up against the Chemical Brothers and Basement Jaxx in respective years, swear that not only did he hold his own, but was widely regarded to have stolen the show. While his meteoric rise in popularity here in Australia has been one thing, his parallel ascent overseas has been entirely another. Climbing to #8 in the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 listings has been a direct result of both his revered DJ sets, and his close association with Armin van Buuren’s Armada label (as well as his own offshoot Coldharbour Recordings). Markus Schulz, in a headline appearance at Metro City; this is what the clubbing community of Perth have been waiting for.

Speaking of which, anyone who’s been paying attention knows that one of the‘most requested’ DJ tours of the past 12 months or so has been GARETH EMERY. The young gun reached the top ten of the DJ Mag Top 100 for the first time in 2009, and it would be fair to say that his time is now. As if that isn’t enough another star on the rise, ROGER SHAH (who placed at #21 in 2009’s DJ Mag 100 Poll) rounds out the internationals on a bill that leaves only one justifiable conclusion… this is set to be the biggest night on the 2010 clubbing calendar.
