THE GROWL are ready. With their inclusion on the 2011 Southbound line-up and the recording of their debut EP agonisingly close to being finished, they’ve decided it’s time to kick out the jams with a Norfolk Basement residency on Thursday’s in September.
Friends, comrades and extremely talented individuals have been called in lend a hand each week. Guests include Wolves At The Door, Guns, Rabbit Island, Hootenany and some very special guest DJs.
Having only played a handful of shows, being confirmed as part of next year’s Southbound line-up comes as a welcome surprise and points to great things ahead for The Growl.
This five week residency will give the band a chance to stretch their legs and showcase some of the tracks from their forthcoming EP that haven’t been played live before.
If you’ve heard about The Growl but haven’t seen them yet then this is your chance. If all this is news to you then I suggest you get down to the Norfolk Basement in September. If you’ve seen them before – then I’ll see you there.
