PSYCHEDELIC / BLUES / ROCK
Deserthead are Two brothers (Blair and Kyle Lyons) and long time freind (Josh Raines).
After Almost five years of alcohol fueled all night psychedelic jams in the brothers small home in the quiet town of “NORF DANDALUP CITIES!” the boys were chased out of town by the angry elderly population.
At this point they decided to get their act together and ”Deserthead” was Formed, Featuring Blair on Vocals/Guitar/Synth and Kaos Pad, Josh on Bass and synth and kyle on Drums/Djembe and Digital percussion.
The three young men set about creating their own unique sound combining elements from all of their collective musical tastes. The results is a Bluesy, dirty rock and roll sound with meandering psychedelic howling guitar leads, Thundering electro/Tribal fused drum work and rumbling, riffy basslines all mixed in together with trippy synth breakdowns and electronic beats.
The boys have recieved some great feedback from promoters, organisers and other band members for being an original unique act in the perth area. So if you’re looking for something a little different than the the drums, bass and two guitars approach to rock come and check them out!!
