Inspired by ale and ancient battles, Claim The Throne have become renowned in Perth for their exciting stage shows and unique genre of metal. Their debut release Only The Brave Return (2008) also comes with a novel written by the band members to tell the story of the soundtrack album.

With the ever-growing successes of the pagan metal genres amongst the international metal scene, Claim The Throne are one of the few Australian bands tampering with the genre, blending their fantasy concept with blackened melodic death metal.
