Chilling Winston

are the newest quartet of pop punk indie minstrels to have an identity crisis in the Perth punk scene.

Enigmatic frontman Lindsay heads the lineup with a unique mash of melodious and commandingly gruff vocals, if Celine Dion and Grizzly Adams had sex, the lovechild would sound a lot like Lindsay.

Bass Player/Singer Christian puts the Odious back in melodious with his mixture of raw energy and puppy enthusiasm making up for an obvious lack of musical talent.

Brenton and Harry comprise the rhythm section with Brenny’s grooves and chequered vest wearing giving Winston a suave undercurrent with a healthy dose of shred.

Drummer Harry’s penetrating beats blend a distinctly ska flavoured high tempo punk rock, demonstrating a wrist control that only comes from years of being single and having broadband.

Strings to Winston’s bow include recent gigs with Frenzal Romb, Streetlight Manifesto, Strike Anywhere, A Death in the Family, Kill Whitey and Grim Fandango. The posse teamed up in the studio with Al ‘Alien’ Smith culminating in the 2010 release of their Debut 10” vinyl EP on Sewing Circle Records and East Coast Tour.
